2013 was a great year for North Pole Productions with shows, exhibits and events around the country. The first events each year are trade shows and we love meeting with potential new clients and old friends at various industry shows. You’re invited to connect with owner, Tammy Peters at an upcoming show in 2014.
Several years ago North Pole Productions unveiled our newest exhibit great for fairs and agriculture events, The Barnyard Cackle Review. The hilarious performing chickens, don’t worry no feeding or clean up required, entertained fairgoers with recognizable songs, jokes and agriculture trivia across the country in 2013. The Barnyard Cackle Review had audiences laughing at events in New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut and Pennsylvania . Learn more about the Barnyard Cackle Review.
Christmas is always a year-round job for North Pole Productions. Our warehouse is centrally located in Missouri with display refurbishment happening from January through August. With shows in Florida, Iowa, New York, Arkansas and two in Missouri, the North Pole Productions crew is hopping all year long!
After Branson, many of our shows open nearly at the same time, so it takes a team of workers all around the country for North Pole Productions to be Producers of Memorable Experiences, but like magic for each of our clients, the light switch flips and its Christmas!
The first commercial Christmas light displays to be installed in 2013 were located in Branson, Missouri. The Branson Area Festival of Lights is over a mile-long display sponsored by the local Chamber of Commerce for the enjoyment of residents and the visitors who flock to the area during the very popular Ozark Mountain Christmas season.
Light Up UCF (University of Central Florida) produces 50 Nights of Music, Lights & Ice, which includes ice skating, rides and photos with Santa. This show is unique as it is a gift from the university to the community and includes several indoor aspects. We are proud to provide the outdoor and indoor commercial Christmas displays and decor.
Springfield, Missouri’s Ozark Empire Fairgrounds host Christmas in Lights during November and December. This show is also a drive-through light display, which has allowed the fairgrounds to continue to produce revenue through non-fair events.
Each year we help the Albany, NY Police Athletic League’s Capital Holiday Lights in the Park freshen their show with new displays to be included among the displays they own. This gives organizers a chance not only to change the show each year, but an opportunity to refurbish their own displays as needed. This is a win for community and win for organizers.
New this year, was the Mount Pleasant Festival of Lights in Iowa. This show was designed in the Old Threshers Campground on 60 acres providing a great area for the holidays to come to life in lights. The Old Threshers advisory board met Tammy Peters at an industry show a few years ago and went home to start planning how they too could take their warm weather event area and extend its tourism draw…their plan came full-circle in 2013 proving to be a huge success!
Thanks to our wonderful clients, 2013 truly was great for North Pole Productions and we cannot wait to see what 2014 will hold!
